Job Title: QC Data Reviewer
Job Description
As a QC Chemistry Data Reviewer, you will be responsible for overseeing 14 chemists and lab technicians who test finished products, raw materials, and ANDA products within the lab. You will complete data reviews and assist in audits and investigations on any deviations occurring during the daily testing of pharmaceutical products. The primary focus will be on testing new ANDA Oral Dose products, with occasional involvement in testing samples such as oral rinses and antiseptics using methods like titrations, pH, specific gravity, and HPLC.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the testing of finished products, raw materials, in-process samples, components, and stability study samples.
- Conduct data reviews and assist in audits and investigations related to deviations in testing.
- Perform testing using HPLC, GC, TOC, FT-IR, UV-Vis, and pH meters as needed.
- Inspect supplies and ingredients used for pharmaceutical product production.
- Review SOPs and lab protocols for accuracy.
- Conduct some instrument validation as required.
- Ensure adherence to GMP and FDA guidelines.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of HPLC/GC and Pharma/cGMP experience.
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in chemistry or related
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry with hands-on GC, HPLC, FTIR, and wet chemistry (titration).
- Good working knowledge of GMP and GDP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and documentation review.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington Heights, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $36.00/hr.
