QC Technician

As a QC Technician, you will play a crucial role in cold storage and general warehousing activities, focusing on material handling for core production areas. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring the quality of products through quantity verification and temperature monitoring. This position requires excellent stakeholder communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Unwrap and unbox materials, placing them in designated areas without logging or IT usage.
• Ensure timely and accurate issuance, return, and transfer of semi-finished and finished products, components, label control materials, and production-related materials.
• Handle material requisitions and replenish staging areas as needed.
• Wrap palletized products in preparation for shipment.
• Control inventory of newly received components and materials, including placement in designated locations.
• Conduct physical inventory checks, including cycle counts.
• Lookup and reorder inventory and plant supplies as necessary.
• Perform daily inspections of forklifts, warehouse, cold rooms, and freezers.
• Maintain up-to-date training status.
• Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties.
• Utilize knowledge in Prism systems and SAP & PAS-X for material flow to production.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year related experience, preferably in a GMP warehouse or pharmaceutical industry.
• Basic math skills, including knowledge of the metric system.
• Competency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
• Understanding of the risks inherent to the processing, handling, and storage of hazardous materials.

• Experience with a computerized inventory system such as SAP is a plus.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to execute a work plan and adapt to schedule changes.
• Experience in bioworks, manufacturing operations, and biotechnology.

You will work a standard day shift from Monday to Friday, with 8-hour days. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.56 - $18.56/hr.
