Actalent is now hiring a QC Lab Technician for a chemical manufacturing facility in Rockwall, TX!
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled QC Lab Technician to join our quality control team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting physical and analytical tests on incoming raw materials and finished products to ensure our lubricants meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform a wide range of physical and analytical tests on lubricants and related materials
- Operate and maintain various laboratory equipment
- Record and analyze test results with precision and accuracy
- Collaborate with other team members to maintain quality control standards
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
Schedule: 6am - 6pm (Dupont Schedule: 2,2,3 ... - rotating weekends)
Skills:
- Associates or Bachelors of Science (Chemistry, Biochemistry, or science related degree) *NEW GRADS WELCOMED*
- Lab testing experience with raw materials from school or work - MUST be familiar with pH, viscosity and titrations, HPLC, weighing samples
- Excellent computer and math skills - including Excel and Word knowledge
- 1 year of work experience in a fast paced role (restaurant or retail)
- Experience of QA/QC experiencein a chemical manufacturing plant (metals, paints, plastics, petroleum, construction, energy) is a plus!**
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockwall, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
