QC Analyst 1

We are seeking a dedicated QC Analyst 1 to join our team. This role involves conducting laboratory tests, preparing reagents, and maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies. The position requires adherence to cGMP practices and SOPs, and offers opportunities to assist in special projects and oversee specific areas such as RBC and blood inventory monitoring.

• Conduct laboratory tests and prepare reagents.
• Calibrate, qualify, and troubleshoot instruments; perform minor repairs and coordinate with suppliers.
• Manage reagent and supply inventory; maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Oversee pooling operations and ensure timely testing.
• Utilize specialized software including Excel, Word, Access, LIMs, SAP, and EDMS.
• Follow cGMP practices and SOPs for all tasks.
• Assist supervisors and participate in special projects.
• May oversee RBC area and monitor blood inventory.

• Experience in quality control, biology, chemistry, laboratory assays, plasma, and GMP.
• Familiarity with chemical, biochemical, and microbiological testing.
• Strong communication and detail-oriented skills.
• Ability to multitask, proficiency in math, and computer literacy.

• Associate or BS degree with some lab experience.
• 0–3 years of experience in a lab setting; experience in an FDA-regulated environment is preferred.

The work environment involves exposure to infectious materials, chemicals, fumes, and temperature extremes. The role primarily consists of bench work (70–75%) with occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. Shift work and long or unusual hours may be expected, contributing to potential stressors.

This is a Contract position based out of Boca Raton, FL.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Boca Raton,FL.
