Job Description

This position provides verification and administrative support to the batching areas in the effort to efficiently and effectively meet all internal and external compliance requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all batching kits before they are shipped to the main plant.

Responsibilities

• Verify the accuracy of all batching kits prior to shipping to the main plant.
• Assist with inventory accuracy for batching kits and customers.
• Coordinate, monitor, and test all vendors to meet Quality/Compliance expectations for products they provide.
• Work with manufacturing to design and enhance quality management systems to facilitate overall regulatory compliance.
• Assist the Batching Compliance Analyst Lead in serving as a liaison with all compliance issues.
• Verify ingredient quantities during the kit stage in the DC batching area. Must be able to lift 55 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Conduct organoleptic analysis of all supplied ingredients.
• Report any non-conformance.
• Know all quality standards and expectations of the position.
• Report any waste or poor conservation practices.
• Continuously look for improved practices and processes in your position and contribute these ideas to your immediate supervisor.
• Know all safety requirements of the position before starting any job.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures established by the company.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or required by supervisor/customer.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and use of customer portals
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Regular use of computer, writing, and filing records
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or Chemistry (preferred)
• 1-3 years’ experience in a Quality environment or manufacturing environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
