Job Description
As a Purchasing/Estimation Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing design meetings and enhancing the client experience. You will be responsible for delivering excellent client service, ensuring that their new home experience is exceptional. Your expertise in floor plans and upgrade options will drive sales of upgrades, and you will maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our policies, processes, and procedures. This role involves working closely with clients to design and adjust floor plans to meet their needs, coordinating with internal teams throughout the build process, and resolving any design or construction issues promptly.
Responsibilities
- Oversee design meetings and client experiences.
- Deliver excellent client service and enhance their new home experience.
- Expertly advise on floor plans and upgrade options to drive sales.
- Maintain knowledge of company policies, processes, and procedures.
- Work closely with clients to design and modify floor plans.
- Coordinate with internal teams throughout the build process.
- Resolve design or construction issues promptly to client satisfaction.
- Showcase the Design Studio and display samples for clients.
- Coordinate and execute electrical walkthroughs.
- Respond to inquiries from clients, subcontractors, and vendors courteously and timely.
- Ensure all necessary information is available before starting construction activities.
- Design specification and model homes.
- Assist in designing new plans.
- Participate in defining standard options and upgrade offerings.
Essential Skills

- Capable of managing multiple projects and timelines.
- 3-5 years of design experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field.

Work Environment
You will work in an office environment, spending most of the day behind a computer. Daily interactions with clients will be a part of your routine as you design homes. You will be part of a team with three other drafters. The standard working hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, and the dress code is business casual. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
