Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Contractor Project Manager to oversee and coordinate commercial construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in electrical systems, and a proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, and within scope.

• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations for commercial electrical construction projects.
• Supervise electricians, subcontractors, and support staff, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
• Prepare cost estimates, monitor expenses, and ensure projects remain financially viable.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and general contractors, providing updates and resolving issues.
• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal codes, as well as company policies.
• Identify potential risks and implement proactive solutions to minimize delays or cost overruns.
• Maintain accurate records, contracts, change orders, and project reports.
• Conduct inspections and testing to guarantee electrical systems meet performance and safety standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in commercial electrical contracting.
• PMP, OSHA 30, or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and construction processes.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore).

• Experience with Procore.
• Knowledge of low voltage and medium voltage systems.
• Familiarity with core and shell construction.

The position involves working in the work trailer 90% of the time with site walks. The environment is fast-paced and requires frequent interaction with various stakeholders. Dress code and specific attire requirements are not specified.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Terre Haute, IN.

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Terre Haute,IN.
