Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to act as the owner’s representative and coordinate construction activities from a project trailer. This role involves overseeing daily field operations and ensuring that all construction activities align with project goals.

Responsibilities

• Act as the owner’s representative, coordinating construction activities without holding contracts.
• Direct and oversee daily field operations to ensure work is coordinated properly.
• Develop, review, and manage project schedules.
• Lead scope development and scope reviews across all trades.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Review contracts and support contract administration from an owner’s perspective.
• Prepare and maintain daily and monthly reports.
• Track progress, issues, and milestones, escalating risks as needed.
• Ensure overall project execution aligns with schedule, scope, and quality expectations.

Essential Skills

• 10 years of Project Management experience.
• Strong field experience is required.
• Comfortable being onsite and directing work daily.
• Project management, construction, and construction management expertise.
• Project coordination, commercial construction, project scheduling, field coordination, and construction supervision.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 12 years of construction experience.
• Strong background as a Project Manager with hands-on field exposure.
• Field-experienced PM preferred over a Superintendent profile.
• Experience supporting construction without self-performing work.
• Ability to manage scopes, schedules, reporting, and subcontractor coordination.
• Construction Supervisor License (CSL) preferred but not required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sturbridge, MA.

The pay range for this position is $72.11 - $81.73/hr.
