Project Manager, Sr - Nuclear

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in the nuclear sector to manage complex projects and plant modifications, including those involving safety-related systems. This role involves strategic planning to optimize resource use and personally managing projects with budgets up to $1,000,000. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in nuclear project management, with significant leadership experience.

• Manage and oversee complex nuclear projects and plant modifications, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
• Develop strategic plans to optimize the use of resources for project execution.
• Authorize and control project budgets up to $1,000,000.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure project objectives are met within established timelines.
• Lead a team of professionals to achieve project goals effectively and efficiently.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the nuclear industry.
• At least 7 years in a leadership role within project management.
• Experience in project management, nuclear engineering, construction, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in managing nuclear projects, including construction management and mechanical engineering.

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• Experience with estimating systems.
• Nuclear experience of at least 5 years preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Sciences or Engineering is highly desirable.

The role is based in a professional setting focused on nuclear and potentially fossil industry projects. The candidate will work with a team of experts in a collaborative environment, utilizing advanced technologies and systems to manage complex projects. Standard office attire is expected.

This is a Contract position based out of Palo, IA.

The pay range for this position is $90.00 - $100.00/hr.
