Job Description
We are seeking a Project Manager with a experience in engineering to oversee large-scale industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with process systems, utility, and packaging systems, equipment procurement, and project installation and start-up. You will be responsible for delivering projects on budget and schedule, managing complex scopes, and supervising contractors.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of packaging and processing system projects, from estimation and justification through installation, start-up, and closeout.
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party contractors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Essential Skills
- 3 years of experience in project management.
- Strong understanding of process systems, utility, and packaging systems.
- Experience with equipment procurement, project installation, and start-up.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- PMP certification is a plus.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in project engineering, assistant project management, or engineering.
- Experience with automation and baggage systems is beneficial.
- Experience in the airport, automotive, food & beverage, parcel, postal, or heavy industrial sectors is advantageous.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong social and communication skills.
- Experience with Bluebeam software is a plus.
- Ability to travel 25-35% of the time for client relationships and business development.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to unique processes.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $48.00 - $58.00/hr.
