Construction Project Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Project Engineer to assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction activities. This role involves supporting project managers and superintendents with documentation, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards, and actively participating in project meetings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing construction activities.
• Support project managers and superintendents with documentation and scheduling.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure smooth project operations.
• Track project progress, requests for information (RFIs), submittals, and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving efforts.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in construction or engineering preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore or Bluebeam.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Internship experience in construction management or a related field.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr.
