Project Engineer – Parts Washers & Autoclaves
Job Description
We are seeking a Project Engineer to lead the delivery of parts washers and autoclave systems from design through installation and handover to CQV. This role involves developing and managing schedules, execution strategies, and resource planning for assigned equipment packages, ensuring compliance with GMP, safety, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with design teams, vendors, construction, QA, and end users to ensure alignment and timely execution of washer and autoclave scope.
- Oversee FAT/SAT readiness and ensure systems meet GMP, safety, and quality standards.
- Act as the SME and point of contact for all process-related queries within the parts washer and autoclave scope.
- Support commissioning activities including cycle development, validation, and troubleshooting of automated cleaning and sterilization systems.
- Manage resource planning, scheduling, and execution strategies for assigned equipment packages.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- B.S. in Engineering, Mechanical, Chemical, or related field
- 2 years of industry-specific experience with washers and autoclaves
- Experience in construction, project management, engineering, GMP, design, and troubleshooting
- Postgraduate qualification in project management or related field is a plus
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the design, installation, and qualification of parts washers and autoclaves
- Proven experience working on capital projects, managing scope, schedule, and budget
- Familiarity with GMP environments, cleanroom requirements, and commissioning/validation processes
- Strong communication, coordination, and troubleshooting skills
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Worcester, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $65.00/hr.
