Project Engineer – Concrete & Structural Projects

Position Overview

We are seeking a Project Engineer with a strong background in pre-cast and tilt-up concrete construction to support large-scale commercial projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, field-driven environment and wants hands-on exposure to complex structural builds from excavation through shell completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of tilt-up and precast concrete structures, including excavation, concrete pours, and shell construction
• Assist with day-to-day project coordination for large-scale ($50M ) construction projects
• Track project schedules, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and field documentation
• Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, inspectors, and design teams
• Help manage multiple subcontractors and support crews exceeding 50 craft laborers
• Monitor quality, safety, and adherence to construction drawings and specifications
• Participate in progress meetings and assist with reporting and cost tracking

Required Qualifications

• Experience with pre-cast or tilt-up concrete construction
• Strong understanding of excavation, formwork, reinforcing, and concrete placement
• Exposure to large-dollar, large-scale commercial or industrial projects
• Solid knowledge of concrete systems and structural construction
• Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic onsite environment

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills

• Experience supporting shell construction from the ground up
• Prior involvement in projects exceeding $50 million
• Experience working closely with field supervision and self-performing trades

Work Environment

• Primarily outdoor, onsite, field-based role

This is a Permanent position based out of Fargo, ND.

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $130000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Fargo,ND.
