Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our growing team in West Hartford, CT. This role is pivotal in leading major product lines and developing a team of Associate Product Managers. The position offers a unique opportunity to influence the future of global hardware products, with the resources to transform innovative ideas into reality.
Responsibilities
- Own the full cradle-to-grave lifecycle of assigned product categories.
- Lead the development and execution of a 5-year vision for product lines.
- Prepare and lead Sales and Operations Planning (SO&P) reviews.
- Identify and assess M&A opportunities in alignment with long-term strategies.
- Manage, mentor, and develop Associate Product Managers.
- Act as a brand ambassador with executive leadership and customers.
- Extensive experience in product management with a focus on hardware.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Collaborative working style across functions such as engineering, sales, marketing, and operations.
- Strong communication skills to present complex ideas to non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in new product development and product lifecycle management.
- Experience in electrical, construction, or building infrastructure.
- Exposure to the data center market.
- Familiarity with design thinking and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of Salesforce and PowerBI.
- MBA or an advanced degree is preferred.
- Responsible use of AI tools and understanding of validation and sourcing.
