Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our growing team in West Hartford, CT. This role is pivotal in leading major product lines and developing a team of Associate Product Managers. The position offers a unique opportunity to influence the future of global hardware products, with the resources to transform innovative ideas into reality.

Responsibilities

• Own the full cradle-to-grave lifecycle of assigned product categories.
• Lead the development and execution of a 5-year vision for product lines.
• Prepare and lead Sales and Operations Planning (SO&P) reviews.
• Identify and assess M&A opportunities in alignment with long-term strategies.
• Manage, mentor, and develop Associate Product Managers.
• Act as a brand ambassador with executive leadership and customers.

Essential Skills

• Extensive experience in product management with a focus on hardware.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Collaborative working style across functions such as engineering, sales, marketing, and operations.
• Strong communication skills to present complex ideas to non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in new product development and product lifecycle management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, construction, or building infrastructure.
• Exposure to the data center market.
• Familiarity with design thinking and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of Salesforce and PowerBI.
• MBA or an advanced degree is preferred.
• Responsible use of AI tools and understanding of validation and sourcing.

Work Environment

The work environment is highly collaborative and team-oriented, with a focus on innovation and growth. Located in West Hartford, CT, the role offers hybrid work flexibility with remote work on Mondays and Fridays, and in-office presence on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The culture values internal networking, and a balance of professionalism with a friendly, 'nerds who like happy hour' atmosphere. Travel may be required up to 25% of the time.

This is a Permanent position based out of West Hartford, CT.

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
