What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Engineer position at Actalent?
Description
- Process Engineer is responsible for line improvements, documentation such as PFMEA, control plans, and work instructions.
- Communicate with production teams and maintenance to ensure lines are running efficiently.
- Train team members in Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), problem solving, CI techniques (Ex: 5S, TPM, SMED) and ensure regular audits for the maintenance of such procedures.
- Also responsible for training supervisors and team members on equipment issues and processes.
Will run line containing 8-10 team members. Hours are M-F 6:30 am - 2:30 pm.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors in Engineering preferred (Ceramics, Mechanical, Industrial, Material Science)
- Problem solving skills
- Glass manufacturing experience preferred
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
