Job Description
Join our team as a Phlebotomist, where you will perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all age groups. You will be responsible for collecting specimens for various tests such as drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Accurate data entry of patient information, specimen preparation for testing, and maintaining patient and specimen logs are crucial aspects of this role. Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests.
- Accurately enter patient information in a timely manner.
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to patients.
- Complete administrative and clerical duties as required.
Essential Skills
- 1-2 years of recent phlebotomy experience in a clinical setting.
- Proficiency in blood draw and specimen processing.
- Ability to perform 30 patient draws using straight needle venipuncture.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warner Robins, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.75 - $18.50/hr.
