Job Description

Are you a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist looking to make a meaningful impact in patient care? We’re hiring for a Full-time role in Pueblo, CO and we want you on our team! A chance to perform phlebotomy in a dynamic environment, providing essential care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct blood draws and phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages, primarily adults.
• Serve both inpatient and outpatient populations.
• Collect and process patient information accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
• Ensure the proper labeling and processing of blood samples.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 1 year of experience in venipuncture, specimen collection, and lab procedures.
• Skills:Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and a patient-first mindset.
• Tech-Savvy:Comfortable using healthcare and patient information systems.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques and blood draw procedures.
• Pediatric and Geriatric experience needed.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience with specimen processing and data entry.
• Ability to interact effectively with patients.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Certified Phlebotomist is preferred but not required
• Attention to detail.

Work Environment

Work in a fast-paced clinic environment. The role involves working 7:30am-4:30pm M-F. Serve a wide range of patients, working independently completing 80 draws per day. 4 month contract.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.43 - $23.51/hr.
