Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Pharmacist with an active Florida license to join our team. This role requires expertise in PV1 (initial pharmacist verification) and final verification of compounded prescriptions. The ideal candidate will be meticulous and thorough, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and compliance in all compounded and dispensed medications.
Responsibilities
- Perform PV1 (initial pharmacist verification) on prescription orders, focusing on accuracy and adherence to state and federal protocols.
- Conduct final verification of compounded medications, ensuring precision in formulation, labeling, and patient-specific requirements.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, USP , USP and guidelines, and pharmacy policies related to compounding and dispensing.
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other staff to maintain a seamless workflow and meet patient needs.
- Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of Florida
- Strong knowledge and experience in compounded prescription verification
- Proficiency in USP , USP and standards and PV1 processes
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- PharmD degree
- CPhT certification
- Flexible availability for additional shifts as needed
The work environment is dynamic and fast-growing, providing ample opportunities for career development. The position follows a Monday-Friday schedule, from 8:30 am to 5 pm, at the Jupiter, FL location. The setting is a closed-door pharmacy with no patient contact, emphasizing a team-oriented approach where tasks include filling prescriptions at the bench and pivoting to answer phones as necessary.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
