Pharm Technician/22/PHM020

Join our team as a Pharmacy Technician where you will play a critical role in processing and filling prescription orders for pharmacist verification, and in the packing and shipping of completed prescription orders to patients. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining drug inventory and automated dispensing units, replenishing work station supplies, and working within multiple computer systems simultaneously. You will be responding to questions or providing specific medication details and clinical information. This position supports a high-volume environment, filling an average of 50,000 prescriptions per day during the evening shift, in collaboration with the whole team.

• Process and fill prescription orders for pharmacist verification.
• Pack and ship completed prescription orders to patients.
• Maintain drug inventory and automated dispensing units.
• Replenish work station supplies for filling prescriptions, including vials, caps, and labels.
• Work within multiple computer systems simultaneously.
• Respond to questions or provide specific medication details and clinical information.

• Pharmacy technician license in NJ is required.
• Production experience in a pharmacy setting.
• Experience with pharmacy production and inventory management.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is highly preferred.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification is preferred.

This full-time position requires working 40 hours per week, Sunday through Thursday, with Fridays and Saturdays off. The shift hours are from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Occasional overtime or weekend work may be necessary based on business needs. The work environment involves standing for the entirety of the shift and may require lifting boxes weighing over 40 pounds. Technicians will rotate between different picking stations, including replenishments, manual puck stations, bottle counting with Kerby machines, and tray and spatula filling stations with Yuyama machines. The role involves more than just data entry, with some offline troubleshooting responsibilities. This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment where delivering accurate and efficient medication service is critical.

This is a Contract position based out of Montville, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Montville,NJ.
