Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated PC Support Technician to join our team. This role involves providing end user support, managing conference room equipment, and offering general technical support at the IT Walk-Up. The ideal candidate will effectively assist users with all desktop and workstation-related needs, operating under limited supervision.
Responsibilities
- Provide end user support for desktop and workstation needs.
- Support conference room equipment and IT Walk-Up services.
- Troubleshoot laptop and desktop endpoints, printing devices, smartphones, and tablets.
- Communicate technical issues clearly to end users.
- Assist end users through chat, email, phone, and in person.
- Prioritize incidents and manage ticketing systems efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace while managing a virtual queue of tasks.
- Make sound decisions with general guidance.
- Working knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft Office, and Office 365.
- Familiarity with maintaining laptop and PC hardware, laser printers, iOS, and Android devices.
- 1-3 years of experience with in-person IT support.
- Sound knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, and Intune solutions.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Prior experience in a technical support role or industry-recognized certifications preferred.
- Experience working with end users through various communication channels.
The position is based in a traditional office setting with standard working hours from 8am to 5pm. There may be a requirement to travel up to 10% of the time.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Kansas City, Missouri.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.67 - $26.00/hr.
