Job Description
The Office Support Specialist will manage and maintain site support services, facilitate onboarding processes, and coordinate meetings and events. This role involves performing general office duties, maintaining compliance with safety regulations, and supporting various departments with administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain site support services, including break room and office supplies, mail, office maintenance coordination, and employee badges.
- Onboard new hires and temporary hires with site-level training and document processing.
- Facilitate and coordinate meetings and events as instructed.
- Perform general environmental, health, and safety tasks.
- Order supplies, maintain records, onboard new hires, and create purchase requisitions/purchase orders.
- Support shipping/receiving and assist the Engineering team as needed.
- Utilize time management effectively while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with internal departments, parent company, and external third parties.
- Exercise discretion in managing cross-departmental communications and projects.
- Perform minor physical tasks associated with office work, such as organizing storage and cleaning cubicles.
- Manage and oversee export control processes to ensure compliance.
- Coordinate with global service teams for facility-related updates, including IT and garage services.
- Maintain and update training records, safety protocols, and compliance plans.
- Monitor and document hazardous waste generation, storage, and removal according to safety regulations.
- Support travel request processes, including approval, scheduling, and logistics.
- Assist with purchase order processing and procurement activities.
- Manage visitor logs and issue visitor badges for security and recordkeeping.
- Create and maintain an organized, efficient, and safe work environment according to 5S standards.
- Greet and assist visitors, manage the front door, and provide necessary support.
- Maintain regular communication with the landlord to address facility concerns and coordinate property-related matters.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Goleta, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
