Back Office Medical Assistant – ($25/hr)

We are looking for a Back Office Medical Assistant to support a fast‑paced medical clinic. This role is hands‑on and patient‑facing, focusing on direct clinical support and exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for their visit
• Take vitals (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, etc.)
• Assist with injections and basic clinical procedures
• Update patient charts and medical records
• Support providers with back office tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical workspace

Essential Skills

• Experience taking vitals and rooming patients
• Comfortable with injections
• Strong patient‑care and customer service skills
• Familiarity with medical terminology and basic clinical workflow
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR/EMR)

Requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish
• High school diploma or equivalent

Pay

• $25 per hour

Work Environment

This role is fully back office/clinical within a busy medical clinic. You’ll work closely with providers and other MAs in a supportive environment with opportunities for long‑term growth.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Barbara, CA.

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
