Job Description

This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises individual patient care according to standards. You will be responsible for directing co-workers in the implementation of care plans. Depending on the needs and skills of staff, you may be required to work in other areas. You will provide exceptional service to all patients and customers under the supervision of a Director.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessment and reassessment of patients and document in the medical record.
• Analyze collected information to determine patient's needs and expected outcomes.
• Develop and implement plans of care based on assessment, diagnosis, and expected patient outcomes.
• Oversee the delegation of the care plan to other licensed and unlicensed personnel.
• Ensure a discharge plan is part of the individualized care plan as appropriate to the population served.

Essential Skills

• Experience in Med Surg, Hospital, Patient Care, and Acute Care.
• Registered Nurse with a valid RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Open to new Nurses or those with 6 months of experience.
• Licensed in the state of MO and/or KS as a Registered Nurse.
• Previous experience in Med Surg or acute care is beneficial but not mandatory.

Work Environment

This is an overnight position requiring three 12-hour shifts with self-scheduling, from 7pm to 7am. Night shift comes with a differential of $5.10 per hour, and weekend shifts have a $2.60 differential. Candidates who decline health insurance receive an additional 15%. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available, distributed over specific contract periods, with tuition and loan repayment programs available after 90 days of permanent employment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $46.40/hr.
