Job Description
The Network Technician role focuses on software support, software tooling, and IT skills, with traditional lab technician skills being a plus. The position requires working closely with software engineers, including tasks such as flashing software on devices and developing in-house tools to optimize hardware tracking. The role also involves supporting cross-functional teams including system engineers, software engineers, and integration engineers to set up lab events.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with software engineers, taking direction to flash software on devices and develop in-house tools.
- Optimize hardware tracking and support integration efforts in lab settings.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various engineering teams to support lab setups.
- Learn and adapt to new software tools, including PowerBI.
- Translate digital system diagrams into real-time lab environment setups.
Essential Skills
- 2-3 years of IT/Network Engineering experience.
- Familiarity with networking principles and routing networks in lab settings.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Experience with software flashing and lab setups.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with PowerBI or any dashboarding tool.
- Ability to automate data pulls.
- Experience with PowerApps.
- Knowledge of SQL for database management.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sterling Heights, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.65 - $43.27/hr.
