Job Description

Join a leading real estate development company as a Superintendent, where you will provide overall project leadership and serve as the field general for all stages of construction. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are executed to a high standard of quality and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead all stages of construction, providing overall project leadership.
• Review design documents and become proficient in all trade disciplines to execute high-quality projects.
• Assist project management in managing submittals and shop drawing tracking and review processes.
• Generate and present RFIs based on field conditions, ensuring timely processing to maintain the project schedule.
• Guide, motivate, and assist subcontractors to achieve maximum on-site production.
• Prepare Daily Field Reports and upload construction project photos to Procore.
• Prepare agendas for weekly subcontractor meetings and two-week look-ahead schedules.
• Monitor site safety daily, conduct weekly toolbox safety talks, and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate construction activities with other site superintendents.
• Manage daily activities of field laborers and punch list laborers.
• Inspect subcontractor work and coordinate Building Department trade inspections.
• Document quality control details in Procore.
• Manage and facilitate delivery and staging of building materials.
• Coordinate underground utilities with site contractors and utility representatives.

Essential Skills

• 8-10 years of multifamily construction experience with the ability to lead as a superintendent.
• Experience with 200-400 unit projects ranging from $100 million to $500 million in scope.
• Proficiency in Procore, RFI, submittals, and change orders.
• Multifamily wood framing experience and familiarity with Bluebeam.
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in multifamily construction management.
• Knowledge of construction management tools and software.

This is a Permanent position based out of Hackensack, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
