Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technologist to join our team and contribute to a friendly and efficient workflow. The role involves collecting and processing samples, conducting quality control reviews, managing failed specimens, and releasing results.

Responsibilities

• Collect and accession samples for processing.
• Conduct quality control reviews of laboratory processes.
• Manage and address any failed specimens.
• Release results in a timely and accurate manner.

Essential Skills

• Undergraduate degree in Biology/Chemistry.
• 1-2 years of clinical lab experience.
• Proficiency in laboratory, medical, and molecular biology techniques.
• Experience with PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction).
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• ASCP certification is preferred but not required.

Work Environment

The work environment is friendly and engaging, within a medium-sized organization where employees are recognized by name rather than as numbers. The role operates on a Monday to Friday shift from either 8 AM to 5:30 PM or 9 AM to 6 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edison, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
