Responsibilities
- Provide support and flexibility related to the analysis of samples.
- Ensure timely delivery of microbiological analyses.
- Document results and review data meticulously.
- Investigate technical discrepancies promptly.
- Develop a strong knowledge of analytical methods used.
- Maintain world-class lab safety environment complying with all safety rules.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in microbiology, food science, biology, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in food microbiology.
- Basic lab skills including aseptic technique, pipetting, and serial dilutions.
- Confidence in troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Attention to detail, multitasking, and organizational skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Strong technical and hands-on experience with lab operations preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills for productive discourse.
- Leadership experience with good decision-making capabilities.
- Experience in an ISO accredited microbiology lab.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, and LIMS.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
