Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Laboratory Scientist specializing in microbiology. This role involves working in various bench areas, including culture processing and setup, gram stain preparation, staining and reading, molecular testing, positive blood culture setup, and susceptibility setups.

Responsibilities:

• Perform culture processing and setup.
• Prepare and read gram stains.
• Conduct molecular testing using advanced technologies.
• Set up positive blood cultures and susceptibility tests.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, medical laboratory science, clinical laboratory science, or biological science, or an Associate's in Medical Laboratory Technology.
• ASCP Certification
• Basic experience in culture setup.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
