Mechanical Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to oversee turnaround/outage projects at a heavy industrial processing facility for an estimated duration of six months. The successful candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and managed effectively. The projects range from small upgrades to pumps and valves, mechanical/electrical enhancements, to supporting larger heavy equipment upgrades during outages or turnarounds.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee assigned projects ensuring timely and budget-conscious completion.
- Conduct a variety of projects including small upgrades to pumps and valves, and support larger heavy equipment upgrades.
- Coordinate mechanical and electrical upgrades during outage/turnaround periods.
- Collaborate closely with the Capital Project Superintendent and other team members.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in managing heavy industrial outage/turnaround/shutdown projects.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera is advantageous.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Clarksville, Tennessee.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $85.00/hr.
