Job Description

Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for products.
- Perform structural, thermal, and dynamic analysis using FEA/CFD tools.
- Create 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Support system integration and testing of mechanical and electro-optical assemblies.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure design for manufacturability.
- Contribute to prototype builds, reviews, and iterative development cycles.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Experience in mechanical design, finite element analysis, and computational fluid dynamics software.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5 years of experience, or Master’s with 3 years.
- Design experience for machining, additive manufacturing, or other production methods within the past year or two.
- Strong experience with FEA, CFD, and simulation tools for mechanical analysis.
- Experience with electro-optical systems or military/aerospace R&D projects is a strong plus.
- A Ph.D. in a related field is a plus.
