Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in developing mechanical design drawings and specifications for industrial facilities. This role involves working with HVAC systems, process piping, plumbing, and clean utilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical design drawings and specifications for industrial facilities, including HVAC systems, process piping, plumbing, and clean utilities.
- Select and specify mechanical equipment such as AHUs, chillers, pumps, piping, and ductwork.
- Perform load calculations, airflow analysis, and energy modeling.
- Coordinate mechanical layouts with architectural, electrical, plumbing, and process engineering disciplines.
- Produce detailed AutoCAD or Revit MEP deliverables, ensuring compliance with ASHRAE and relevant industry codes and standards.
- Review and incorporate client standards, master specifications, and project-specific requirements.
- Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and review submittals during construction administration.
- Assist in preparation of engineering cost estimates and material take-offs.
- Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and site visits as needed.
- Mentor junior engineers and CAD technicians, providing guidance on drafting standards and project best practices.
Essential Skills
- Strong understanding in industrial mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP.
- Experience in mechanical design, drafting, and HVAC design.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Mechanical and/or Revit MEP.
- Strong understanding of ASHRAE standards and applicable mechanical design guidelines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent.
- 5–10 years of professional mechanical design experience, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other life-science projects is highly desirable but not mandatory.
Work Environment
The work environment includes industrial or manufacturing settings where engineers collaborate with various disciplines such as architectural, electrical, plumbing, and process engineering. The role involves using advanced technology tools like AutoCAD and Revit MEP to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
