Summary:
Honeywell FM&T is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience with GD&T and CMM inspection to be responsible for internal consulting on those topics to support product realization
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops methods and writes detailed process descriptions for CMM inspection methods, CMM Best Practices, and CMM Roadmaps for product acceptance
- Acts as subject matter expert on GD&T, CMM inspection, and functional acceptance topics for internal engineering universe
- Lead planning efforts for internal GD&T training
- Provide technical expertise on CMM inspection topics at supplier locations
- Lead workshops on GD&T and use of technical software packages
- Develop methods and write detailed process description for statistical analysis of CMM point cloud data
- Act as subject matter expert on model-based definition review and model-based acceptance
- Some travel up to 20%
