Job Description
We are seeking a Construction Administrator with over 5 years of experience in a supportive construction role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bid logging, material procurement, and project documentation. Experience with RFI, AIA, and construction schedules is essential. This position starts as a 6-month contract with the potential to become a full-time role.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, work hours, and budgets.
- Assemble and maintain project CO logs, RFI’s, plan updates, and schedules.
- Document and follow up on important actions and decisions in project preparation.
- Maintain bid log and manage material procurement.
- Undertake project tasks as required.
- Track and report material and project documentation, and identify and notify of plan changes.
- Attend and represent the company at client meetings.
- 5 years of experience in a supporting construction role.
- Proficiency in construction administration and project coordination.
- Experience with RFI, AIA, and construction schedules.
- Strong administrative support skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in change order management.
- Strong project administration skills.
The role will require being onsite or at construction sites, with occasional site visits. The position supports the Project Manager directly and may involve up to 40 hours of work per week. The company is family-owned, offering a great backlog and stable work environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Wilmington, DE.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
