About the Role
We’re seeking a REMOTE Marine/Waterfront Project Manager with 8 years of experience to lead and support the design of critical shoreline infrastructure projects across the NYC region. You will have experience with managing projects, junior staff, proposal writing, budgeting and communicating with clients.
You’ll work on a variety of waterfront structures, including:
- Bulkheads & retaining walls, piers, platforms & docks
- Fender systems & marine foundations
- Flood resiliency and shoreline protection systems
This is a high-visibility role with opportunities to lead multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the strategic growth of a well-established firm’s marine practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural and geotechnical design for marine and waterfront infrastructure
- Manage project delivery from concept through construction
- Oversee regulatory permitting and interface with public agencies
- Prepare technical reports, construction documents, and client deliverables
- Support proposals, change orders, invoicing, and client communications
Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in marine, waterfront, structural, or geotechnical engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering
- AutoCAD proficiency, Civil 3D/Revit nice to have
- PE license (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of waterfront structures and coastal resiliency

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $170000.00/yr.
