Job Title: Manufacturing Associate – Clinical Biomanufacturing
Location: Andover, MA

Overview:
Join a team that plays a vital role in delivering life-changing therapies to patients around the world. As a Manufacturing Associate in our clinical biomanufacturing group, you’ll support the production of Phase I/II clinical drug substances for Biotherapeutics portfolio. This is a hands-on role in a dynamic, cGMP-regulated environment focused on mammalian cell culture and downstream processing. Your contributions will directly impact the availability of critical medicines for patients in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform upstream and downstream operations in a clinical biomanufacturing setting.
- Support manufacturing operations by reviewing batch records, SOPs, and standard work documentation.
- Follow cGMP procedures and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with tech transfer, quality, and engineering teams.
- Operate within electronic systems such as QMS, LIMS, and ERP (e.g., SAP).
- Participate in shift handovers and maintain clear communication across teams.
- Assist with documentation related to manufacturing processes, including batch records and in-process data sheets.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and root cause investigations.
- Complete training and participate in safety inspections and compliance activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience in a biotechnology manufacturing or laboratory environment.
- Familiarity with computerized systems and production control tools.
- Strong understanding of safety practices and GMP compliance.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
- Ability to think critically and apply scientific principles to problem-solving.
Preferred Experience:
- Exposure to upstream (cell culture) and downstream (purification) bioprocessing.
- Experience working with electronic documentation and quality systems.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
