Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and collaborative engineering professional to support the development and production of high-quality medical devices. The ideal candidate will work effectively in cross-functional teams with minimal supervision, perform complex statistical, geometric, and mathematical analyses, create and interpret engineering drawings using standard software tools, demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and general PC applications, and uphold a strong commitment to patient safety, product quality, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Document and enhance manufacturing processes to ensure device safety and efficacy.
- Conduct qualification, verification, and validation activities for production.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to quality, cost, and delivery.
- Support new product development through testing, specification creation, and process improvement.
- Design and develop manufacturing equipment and tooling in compliance with OSHA and EPA standards.
- Participate in risk analysis (FMEA), design reviews, and supplier assessments.
- Train and guide operators and technicians.
- Lead and contribute to project planning, coordination, and documentation.
- Analyze engineering test data and communicate findings.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Work Environment
This position requires working onsite from Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. There is no hybrid or remote option available.

This is a Contract position based out of Salt Lake City, Utah.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.80 - $38.70/hr.
