Job Description

A sterile manufacturer of pharmaceutical products is seeking a team of Manufacturing Associates. The Manufacturing Associate will support aseptic fill-finish operations for prefilled syringe manufacturing within isolator-based production lines. This role is responsible for executing GMP manufacturing activities, operating isolator equipment, and ensuring product quality, safety, and compliance with all regulatory and internal standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor isolator-based fill-finish equipment used in the production of prefilled syringes.
• Perform aseptic operations including component preparation and staging, line setup and changeovers, and filling, stoppering, and capping activities.
• Execute manufacturing processes in accordance with cGMPs, SOPs, batch records, and safety requirements.
• Perform routine in-process checks and inspections to ensure product quality and process control.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation, including batch records, logbooks, and electronic systems.
• Support environmental monitoring activities and maintain aseptic technique at all times.
• Identify and escalate deviations, equipment issues, or process abnormalities to supervision and quality teams.
• Participate in deviation investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA activities as required.
• Maintain cleanroom standards, including gowning qualification and housekeeping of classified areas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to support continuous operations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Essential Skills

• Hands-on experience in sterile manufacturing environments, specifically working on isolator lines.
• Understanding of aseptic processing and aseptic gowning.
• Experience with GMP - bioworks certification or previous GMP aseptic manufacturing experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong commitment to maintaining aseptic technique and cleanroom standards.
• Ability to identify and escalate deviations and participate in investigations.
• Collaborative skills for working with cross-functional teams.

Work Environment

The role operates on a night shift schedule, following a 2-3-2 pattern. Employees will work in a sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, focusing on producing critical products for the hospital system and patients across the US. The opportunity offers cross-training for professional development and growth in manufacturing experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilson, NC.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Wilson,NC.
