Job Title: Linux DevOps Engineer
This role is mostly remote; however, you will need to come to the office in Boxborough, MA, once or twice a month!
Research and implement methods to enhance the security of Linux builds within a secure build environment and integrate these improvements with existing automation workflows to ensure seamless and robust deployment processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement enhancements to the existing secure build process.
- Integrate the enhancements with current automation tools and pipelines.
- Collaborate with team members to document processes and share findings.
Essential Skills
- Foundational knowledge of Linux operating systems, including command-line proficiency, file systems, and basic administration tasks.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or similar.
- Basic knowledge of security principles, including secure coding practices, authentication, and access controls.
- Exposure to automation and CI/CD pipelines, with experience in tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Docker or container technologies.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous coursework or project experience related to cybersecurity or DevOps.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Boxborough, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $46.00/hr.
