Job Description
We are seeking a Licensed Architect to join our team in Idaho. Our firm is renowned for delivering high-quality design solutions for federal, state, and local government clients. With recent successes in large-scale Department of Defense and public sector projects, including manufacturing facilities, testing laboratories, and fire stations, we are expanding our team to support strategic long-term growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead architectural teams through all phases of design and documentation, ensuring alignment with project goals, client expectations, and federal standards.
- Oversee production work in Revit from schematic design through construction documents, ensuring quality control and adherence to project specifications.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for government clients, facilitating clear communication, managing expectations, and building long-term relationships.
- Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation. Monitor progress and proactively address risks or delays.
- Mentor junior staff, coordinate with consultants and engineers, and foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Ensure all deliverables meet applicable codes, DoD criteria, and federal agency requirements.

- 7-10 years of architectural design experience for federal, mixed-use, or commercial projects
- Exposure to managing budgets, deadlines, and schedules
- Experience mentoring junior architects
- 5 years of experience working on construction documents
Work in an office with 2-3 additional team members. The schedule includes in-office days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with remote work on Monday and Friday. The work week comprises four 9-hour days and a half day on Friday. Hours are from 7 AM to 5 PM or 8 AM to 6 PM, with a one-hour lunch break, and 8 AM to 12 PM on Fridays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moscow, ID.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $55.28/hr.
