Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the engineering department, ensuring high standards of performance and productivity.
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of mechanical systems and components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and adherence to timelines.
- Conduct regular reviews of design work and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in Mechanical Engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of steel construction, welding, fasteners, machining, bearings, wheels, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and human factors.
- At least 5 years of field experience in the amusement industry, specifically working on roller coasters or similar rides.
- A minimum of 5 years of management experience overseeing a team of engineers.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, and Solidworks.
- Strong practical and theoretical knowledge in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Mechanical/Electrical knowledge of transportation/conveyance systems is a plus.
- Motivated team player while assisting in running the engineering department.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.06 - $84.13/hr.
