Landscape Architect

We are seeking a Mid-Level Landscape Architect to join our Germantown & Beltsville, MD office. The ideal candidate will possess technical and design expertise, strong collaboration skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality, sustainable design solutions. This role involves supporting senior staff and independently managing parts of projects from concept through construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Support senior staff in various project phases.
• Independently manage portions of projects from concept through to construction documents.
• Engage in grading and erosion sediment control with at least 3 years of experience.
• Collaborate on civil site design, landscape architecture, and land development.
• Utilize software tools such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD Civil 3D, SketchUp, and Photoshop for design tasks.

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in landscape architecture.
• Proficiency in grading and erosion sediment control.
• Experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and landscape design.
• Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture.

• Experience with software such as Microstation, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to support engineering groups, particularly in civil projects related to dry utilities.

The position offers a hybrid schedule, allowing work from both the Germantown office and home. Flexible work hours are offered to candidates who can maintain proactive communication and adhere to a consistent schedule. Initially, candidates are expected to be in the Germantown office 4 days per week until they become a trusted employee. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Germantown, MD.

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr.
