  • Operate and maintain analytical instruments to ensure accurate, precise, and reliable test results.
  • Process, validate, and interpret analytical data using laboratory software systems.
  • Document analytical procedures, results, and observations clearly and accurately, ensuring full compliance with quality assurance and quality control requirements.
  • Review analytical data for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to laboratory standards.
  • Follow established written procedures and protocols for all laboratory tasks.
  • Carry out wet chemical sample preparation, including titrations and other bench chemistry techniques.
  • Measure exact volumes and masses using appropriate laboratory equipment and techniques.
  • Apply basic statistics, such as mean, median, and standard deviation, to analyze and interpret data.
  • Read and interpret chemical nomenclature, labels, and safety information correctly.
  • Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and safety, including proper handling and storage of chemicals and materials.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and contribute to a strong safety culture within the laboratory.
  • Support contamination monitoring on wafers and in the ambient environment as part of manufacturing quality control.
  • Assist with failure investigations by providing accurate analytical data to help determine root cause.
  • Communicate findings and issues clearly in written form and escalate concerns when data or equipment performance is out of specification.
  • Manage time effectively to meet testing schedules and production support deadlines within a compressed shift structure.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelors/Associates in Science or 6 months of related laboratory environment (1–2 years of chemistry lab experience strongly preferred).
  • Ability to follow established written procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs) consistently.
  • Hands-on experience with wet chemical sample preparation and titration techniques.
  • Ability to process, validate, and interpret data using laboratory software systems.
  • Ability to read and understand chemical nomenclature and related documentation.
  • Proficiency in measuring exact volumes and masses using laboratory glassware and balances.
  • Working knowledge of basic statistics, including mean, median, and standard deviation, for data analysis.
  • Intermediate math skills, including algebra and precalculus, to support quantitative analysis.
