Lab Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Lab Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the quality and safety of our products by conducting various tests and maintaining laboratory standards.

Responsibilities

• Collect and prepare samples from various stages of production.
• Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of samples.
• Conduct thorough testing of finished products before release.
• Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure accurate results.
• Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot any issues.
• Accurately enter and import test data into relevant systems.
• Maintain organized records of test results and related information.
• Generate Certificates of Conformance (CoCs) and Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) based on test results.
• Review and verify the accuracy of these documents.
• Perform testing and release incoming raw materials.
• Collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure material quality.
• Keep the laboratory spaces clean, organized, and well-maintained.
• Regularly calibrate and maintain lab instruments.
• Organize and retain required records, both electronic and paper-based.
• Ensure compliance with record-keeping regulations.
• Coordinate activities with other Quality Technicians.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Essential Skills

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in the Sciences
• Experience with laboratory work, chemistry, and biology.
• 2 years of GMP quality, Quality Assurance/Quality Control
• Proficiency in quality control, GMP, analysis, wet chemistry, quality assurance, and titration.
• Strong skills in chemical analysis.
• Attention to detail and experience entering data into Excel and quality systems.

This is a Contract position based out of Portage, IN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Portage,IN.
