Job Description

The Lab Technician (Entry Level) will support laboratory-scale sample generation and evaluation for technical programs, research initiatives, and manufacturing support. This role involves hands-on lab work, equipment troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality results and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Generate and evaluate lab-scale samples for customer technical programs, process and product research, and manufacturing support.
• Perform routine testing, processing, and property evaluations.
• Troubleshoot, operate, and maintain laboratory and production equipment.
• Support equipment and process scale-up activities.
• Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks, logs, and electronic documentation.
• Conduct internet and technical research to support problem-solving efforts.
• Perform stoichiometric calculations using computer software or manual methods.
• Follow all EHS, SOP, and Responsible Care guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Manage multiple tasks while working with more than one technical supervisor.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, research, and technical personnel.
• Interface directly with customers as needed.
• Deliver timely, accurate results to ensure product quality standards are met.

Essential Skills

• 1–3 years of laboratory or related technical experience.
• Basic understanding of laboratory equipment, processes, and calculations.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfortable working onsite in a laboratory setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in Biology and calculations.
• Proficiency in using computer software for stoichiometric calculations.

Work Environment

This position is based in Woodland, CA, and requires working onsite in an office-based laboratory setting. The schedule is Monday to Friday with a start time of 7:30 AM. It is a day shift role with no travel or regular driving required for company business.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodland, CA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Woodland,CA.
