Junior Architect

Job Description

Join a dynamic Retail Studio in Seattle as an Intermediate Architectural Staff member. This role is perfect for individuals who excel in collaborative environments and are dedicated to producing high-quality construction documents in a fast-paced setting. You will be part of a supportive team, making an immediate impact while focusing on detail-oriented design execution.

Pay: $29.00 – $36.00/hour

Schedule: Hybrid – Monday through Thursday in-office, Friday hybrid

Location: Seattle, WA

Responsibilities

• Produce full sets of construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and details
• Apply building codes and technical detailing to design projects
• Coordinate with consultants and internal teams to ensure project success
• Utilize Revit, AutoCAD, and other design tools effectively
• Support site planning, material selection, and cost estimating processes
• Engage in light project management and client interaction when necessary

Qualifications

• Proficient in Revit for detailed, code-compliant construction documentation
• Strong understanding of building codes and technical coordination
• Experience with retail projects and construction documentation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and contribute to team success

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-volume retail rollout projects (food & beverage preferred)
• Ability to mentor junior staff and support team coordination
• Comfortable engaging with clients and supporting project communication
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, architecture production workflows, and construction administration
