Intake Enrollment Pharmacy Technician Representative

This position involves the data entry of new enrollments, locating all eligibility lines for patients, and resolving rejected pharmacy claims. The role requires documenting the steps taken in the enrollment process for each patient in pharmacy operation systems. You will submit eligibility requests through available portals to find insurance coverage information for new enrollments. Troubleshooting pharmacy claims and resolving rejections for both new and refill patients is also part of the job. Collaboration with teams in Admissions and within the pharmacy, as well as other business partners, is essential to expedite the referral process.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient enrollment information into pharmacy operation systems.
• Submit eligibility requests in available portals to find insurance coverage information for new enrollments.
• Troubleshoot pharmacy claims and resolve rejections for both new and refill patients.
• Document all findings in our operating system(s).
• Partner with other teams in Admissions and within the pharmacy and any other business partners to expedite the referral process.

• 1 years of experience in pharmacy-related data entry
• 1 years of submitting pharmacy claims and resolving rejections
• Knowledge of medical insurance
• National Technician Certification preferred
• Ability to multitask
• Capability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to type 40 WPM and maintain accuracy

This is a hybrid role with a training period that may last between 6-8 weeks, depending on individual progress. The position offers a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 6 pm. You will spend 2 days onsite in Elk Grove Village and 3 days working remotely. Remote work is a privilege that may be revoked if performance standards are not met.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
