Part‑Time Front Desk Medical Assistant

We are seeking a professional and organized Part‑Time Front Desk Medical Assistant to join our clinic. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a patient‑facing environment and has strong experience working with insurance verification and front‑office clinical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage check‑in and check‑out processes
• Verify insurance coverage across multiple payers and plans
• Collect co‑pays, update patient demographics, and maintain accurate records
• Assist with basic medical office tasks as needed

Requirements

• Experience working with various insurance plans (commercial, Medicaid, Medicare, etc.)
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a clinical front‑office setting
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Prior medical office or medical assisting experience strongly preferred

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of EMR systems
• Bilingual abilities (optional but helpful)
• Experience in a medical clinic setting

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
