We are a boutique med spa with locations in Boerne and the Alamo Heights area specializing in aesthetic and wellness services, dedicated to providing exceptional client care in a modern, relaxing, and elevated environment. Our team values professionalism, discretion, attention to detail, and outstanding service. We are looking to fill a position as a front office medical assistant. The ideal candidate must hold a current Medical Assistant certification, have at least two years of prior experience as an MA, and be willing to split time between both clinic locations.
Position Overview:
The Front Office / Medical Assistant is a dual-role position responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience while supporting providers with clinical and administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys beauty, aesthetics, and patient care, and who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused setting.
Front office Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients in a friendly, professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and handle inquiries
- Maintain a clean, organized, and calming front desk area
- Verify patient information and handle basic administrative tasks
- Support office staff with clerical needs as required
Medical Assistant Duties:
- Take and record vital signs
- Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during patient visits
- Clean and stock exam rooms and medical supplies
- Ensure patient comfort and safety
- Follow all HIPAA and office protocols
Qualifications:
- Must obtain a Medical Assistant certification
- Two-year front office or medical office experience
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
