Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial manufacturing equipment at customer sites worldwide. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys travel, problem-solving in the field, and working directly with customers in fast-paced industrial environments.
Responsibilities
- Independently diagnose and repair industrial equipment issues involving motors, gearboxes, sensors, wiring, and control panels.
- Interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, P&IDs, and OEM manuals to support installation, commissioning, and repairs.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of PLC controlled equipment with the ability or willingness to make basic program changes or adjustments in the field.
- Install, start up, and commission manufacturing or processing equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
- Ensure industrial safety by adhering to OSHA standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and wearing personal protective equipment while working.
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
- PLC exposure with hands-on experience or a willingness to learn.
- Installation and commissioning experience.
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
- Technical degree or equivalent experience.
Work involves traveling to customer sites worldwide, often in fast-paced industrial settings. Adherence to safety standards and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stow, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $34.00 - $41.00/hr.
